HOW DOES AN AIR ANGLE DIE GRINDER WORK?
mask
For wood work, generally accurate cutting or grinding tools and a steady hand are required. Air angle die grinder is a flexible method to grind brick and wood. The functioning of this die grinder is very simple.
An air angle die grinder consists of a control lever, a long handle shaft with an air inlet at the end and a 90 degree colets’ assembly. Various grinding accessories can be attached with the help of colets’ assembly, for example sanding discs.
An external air compressor is the power source for an air angle die grinder. The air compressor’s pipe is attached to the grinder’s air inlet connection. The air compressor is turned on and the control lever of the grinder is squeezed slowly. The colets’ mechanism is rotated by the pressurized air forces of the compressor. This results in spinning colets with an attached grinding accessory.
For basic functioning, in excess of 90 pounds per square inch or psi is used by a standard air angle die grinder. You should give special attention to this value; compressor should be set in this value to save the attached grinder from damage.
