Greater the capacity of the batteries, better will be the performance in cloudy days. The solar energy conversion efficiency may vary with the installation places and weather conditions. For better receiving of sunlight install the solar panels in open areas clear of obstructions such as trees and buildings which tend to block the sunlight. The solar panel must be placed with its surface facing in the direction of maximum acquisition of sunlight i.e. south facing in the northern hemisphere and north-facing in southern hemisphere.
