5 of 5 Great awning for the money May 12, 2018
Reviewer: Gunnar from Calgary, AB Canada
I was surprised at the quality of this awning. Very nice solid  hardware. It takes some planning to install. I found the measurements in the instructions where not accurate. Best to lay the the hardware out on the floor and install the arms to double check. Very tricky to install the awning fabric. We used compressed air to blow into the openings to install the plastic rope (have one person pinch the end closed on the fabric while doing this) be careful when sliding the fabric into the top rail. A few extra hands will help this operation. The aluminum cylinder is easier on the bottom end. To get the second rope into the aluminum track on the bottom we made a screw with a 90 degree bend that screwed into the rope. It pulled through with the help of silicon spray. The awning uses springs similar to a garage door to roll itself up. Very easy once everything is adjusted right. Great overall product.
